Itinerary - Attabad Lake Tour

Day 01: Fly to Gilgit and Drive to Attabad Lake
On this day of the Attabad Lake Tour, drive to Hunza Valley once you arrive in Gilgit. From Hunza Valley, travel further to Gojal Valley. The Gojal Valley is also called the upper Hunza region. This region is home to more than 16 villages and hosts 80% of all the tourist attractions in Hunza. It features all the towering peaks, beautiful lakes, adventurous trails, national parks, and more.
After crossing the Pakistan-China Friendship Tunnel, eventually you will see Attabad Lake. The lake is located adjacent to the tunnel. In 2010, a massive landslide caused half of the Attabad village, located atop a cliff, to slide away and blocked the Hunza River, giving birth to Attabad Lake, making it one of the most famous lakes in Hunza Valley.
As you arrive, enjoy a boat ride across the lake. Glide over the lake via the longest zipline in the region. Spend the rest of the day at Attabad Lake and enjoy a peaceful evening at Famree Resort, adjacent to the lake.
Day 02: Spend the Second Day near Attabad Lake
On the second day of the Attabad Lake Tour, trek to Baskochi Meadows. Located just above the cliff, this meadow offers the best view of the lake. The hike itself is a must-do experience and requires only 45-minutes to complete.
Upon arrival at the viewpoint, you will witness the picturesque turquoise-blue water of Attabad Lake. Witness the breathtaking views of Passu Cones in the opposite direction. Take pictures, relax, and enjoy a warm cup of coffee with views.
After the hike, cruise across the lake and arrive at Bulchidas, the spring pasture of Gulmit village. Hike to Buland Kor, the highest point at Bulchidas, which offers the best view of Attabad Lake and Passu Cones. Soak in the amazing views of the lake with Passu Cones far in the background.
Day 03: Explore Attabad Lake for the Third Day
Begin your day with the peaceful morning view of the lake. Explore other attractions in Hunza Valley, such as Gulmit village.
To get a different angle view of Attabad Lake, hike to Ondra Poyga Gulmit. Experience the thrilling adventure at Hussaini Suspension Bridge.
Furthermore, drive towards Passu and observe the Passu Glacier and Passu Cones. You will also taste the delicious Yak burger, Yak Steak, and Karahi at Yak Grill. Spend the entire day exploring Gojal Valley before getting back to the hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Gilgit and Fly back to Islamabad
Conclude your Attabad Lake Tour and board the adventurous flight to Islamabad. Our driver will pick you up from the airport and drop you at your home.
