Itinerary - Trophy Hunting
Explore the detailed itinerary of the tour. Each day is designed to offer a unique experience in Hunza Valley. Visit beautiful landscapes, experience scenic trekking trails, and immerse yourself in local culture of the region.
Day 01: Arrival at Islamabad Airport
As you arrive at Islamabad International Airport, our team will transfer you to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free; you can visit the nearby tourist attractions or hike the Margalla Hills to acclimatize to the environment.
Day 02: Fly to Gilgit and transfer to the Hunza Valley
On this day of the trophy hunting journey, you will enjoy a scenic flight from Islamabad to Gilgit. This flight offers you the best view of the jagged peaks of Gilgit-Baltistan. From the airport, the hunting expedition will take you to Hunza Valley.
Meet the local experts in Gojal Valley. You will spend the rest of the day with these professional guides watching game animals. Every evening, you will return to your local guest house for the overnight stay.
Day 03: Transfer to Hunting Area - Prime Hunting Location
As the day unfolds, accompanied by the local guides, you will reach the primary hunting grounds. Pursuing the trophy species will commence at Gulmit village. The hunters will scan the nearby mountains looking for record-breaking long-horned ibexes. Continue the search at Ghulkin, Passu, Khyber, and the Khunjerab National Park area.
The hunters interested in hunting Marco Polo sheep and blue sheep will travel further to Misgar, Khunjerab National Park, and the Shimshal area. As the last hour of the evening approaches, drive back to your local guesthouse and choose the area where to take your trophy.
Day 04: Trophy Hunting Day
Stalking and tracking of the ibex, Marco Polo sheep, or blue sheep with a team of professional local guides will begin. You will traverse rough terrain, rugged hills, and high-altitude pastures looking for big bellies. Our expert team will arrange all the logistics, meals, tents, and transportation services.
Day 05 to Day 09: Trophy Hunting Days
Chasing will continue for another 05 days, keeping contingency days in between. Choose your hunt once a big record-breaking animal is spotted. The hunting period spans day 05 to day 09.
The blue sheep hunters will travel to Shimshal Valley. Hike further deep into the wilderness of Shimshal Pamir, a prime location for hunting blue sheep. Upon a successful trophy hunt, travel back to Gulmit. Celebrate your achievement and cherish all the wonderful adventures you experienced during the trophy hunting in Hunza Valley.
Day 10: Fly to Islamabad
On this day, the hunters will fly back to Islamabad from Gilgit Airport. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure while the team prepares the trophy for international transportation.
Day 11: Fly to your home country
With breakfast done, the trophy hunting journey will enter its final section, in which our guests will board their international flights.
