Board the ATR plane of Pakistan International Airlines and fly to Gilgit City
Take a scenic flight from Islamabad International Airport to Gilgit City and hop in a 4x4 Prado to Hunza Valley. Along the way, while crossing Danyor and Sultanabad village, witness cherry and apple orchards exhibiting beautiful pink and white flowers. As you enter Nagar Valley, mesmerize yourself with the awe-inspiring spring colors scattered across the entire oasis with Rakaposhi Peak in the backdrop. Take a short break at Rakaposhi View Point and enjoy a warm cup of tea with the traditional Chap Shro bread, while enjoying the valley’s beautiful hue. Hunza Spring Tour First Day Exploration
Begin the spring tour of Hunza Valley by exploring the nearby cherry orchards in Karimabad Hunza. After capturing pictures and videos, take a short hike to Baltit Fort, a place that offers a meaningful reflection on the history of Hunza Valley; not just that but, from the roof of the fort you can witness magnificent views of Hunza and Nagar Valley. After exploring Karimabad, also called Baltit, drive to Altit village and engage with the peaceful setting of Altit Royal Garden, where cherry, apricot, and apple blossom creates a scenic atmosphere filled with refined scents and freshness. Stroll through the busy market of Altit and sip a refreshing cup of coffee at Meadows Mug. Hike to Altit Fort and enjoy a meaningful presentation on the history of Hunza Valley one more time. As the sun disappears behind the snow-capped peaks, drive to Upper Hunza, also called the Gojal Valley, and take a short hike to Baskochi Meadows before retiring for the day.
Explore Gulmit, Ghulkin, Borith and Passu Village on the Second Day of Hunza Spring Tour
On the third day of Hunza Valley Spring Tour, begin the exploration of Gulmit village. Take part in the Blossom Festival celebrated each year at Mir Bogh in Gulmit village during the first week of April. Engage with the local community celebrating the arrival of spring. Continue the spring discovery of Hunza and walk to Jingal Bogh Gulmit, where century-old apricot trees provide the best white and pink autumn contrast. Drive to Borith village, spend quality time near the famous Borith Lake. Hike to Upper Borith to admire stunning apricot orchards in blossom, making it an ideal place for photography. As the sun goes behind the scenic mountains, drive to the Hussaini Suspension Bridge and cross the most famous adventurous bridge in Hunza Valley. Drive back to Gulmit village and spend another night in complete tranquility.
Drive back to Gilgit and Board a Flight back to Islamabad
On the last day of the Hunza Spring Tour, drive back to Gilgit city. Along the way, enjoy beautiful spring blossoms at Nagar, Sultanabad, and Danyor village. After arriving at the airport, bid farewell to our local team from Hunza Valley and board a flight back to Islamabad. As the plane takes off, witness beautiful and snow-capped peaks of Gilgit-Baltistan from the air and bid farewell to Hunza Valley.
