Fly to Gilgit Airport from Islamabad or Lahore
Embark on a scenic flight to Gilgit-Baltistan, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped peaks from the air. Witness the 9th-highest mountain, Nanga Parbat. Meet our guide at Gilgit Airport and continue your journey towards Hunza Valley, driving along the Karakoram Highway. To acclimatize for the coming days, enjoy a short yet rewarding hike to Ondra Poyga Gulmit. As you reach the top, you will be welcomed by magnificent views of the famous Passu Cones and the valleys beneath the Ondra Fort. Stay the night at the peaceful settings of Moksha Resort in Gulmit village.
Patundas Trek: Borith to Luzdur Campsite.
On the first day of the Patundas Trek, you will trek from Borith Zero Point to the first campsite, Luzdur. On this day, drive from Gulmit to Borith, which is a 15-minute drive. Pass through Ghulkin and Hussaini villages on the way to Borith. Drive past the serene Borith Lake and arrive at the Zero Point trailhead, from where the trail starts. The first section of the trek takes around 3-4 hours to cover. As you ascend towards Patundas, you will arrive at the awe-inspiring Passu White Glacier. To reach the first campsite, experience navigating through the white glacier of Passu, and pass through crevasses while enjoying the cool breezes coming from the white ice bed. As you arrive at Luzdur after a unique walk above the glacier, our team will prepare delicious food for you. Refuel and begin the exploration of the vicinity. Observe wild flowers, birds, and ibexes. Spend the night in camps next to the Passu Glacier.
Patundas Trek: Luzdur to Patundas Meadows.
On this day of the Patundas Trek, you will hike up to the Patundas Meadows, covering the trail from the Luzdur campsite. The trek on this day is around 3 hours long, but it is the most rewarding day of the journey. As you hike-up the Patundas hill, witness a distant view of the white glacier beneath. Upon arrival, find yourself standing above a cliff, overlooking a vast verdant meadow stretching as far as the eyes can see. Witness the Passu Glacier on one side of the meadow and the Batura Glacier on the other, adding breathtaking scenery to the landscape. Spend the rest of the day at Patundas Meadows exploring the area, while clicking photos and making memories with your loved ones. Spend another night in camps at Patundas Meadows.
Patundas Trek: Return from Patundas Meadow to Borith.
On this day of the Patundas Hunza Trek, you will begin the return journey, which will start from the Patundas Meadows and return to Luzdur. After a lunch break at Luzdur campsite, the journey will continue, and after crossing the white glacier one more time, you will arrive at Borith village. As you descend, enjoy the beauty of the vicinity one more time and marvel at the majesty of Batura and Passu Glaciers. After refueling at Luzdur campsite, experience crossing the Passu Glacier one more time. Hike back to Borith Zero Point, where our team will be waiting for you. Take the ride back to Gulmit and rest to recover from the fatigue of the trek. Spend the night at Moksha Resort in Gulmit, Gojal.
Drive back to Gilgit and fly to Islamabad.
